I attended a fun cake decorating class for adults. We enjoyed a Prosecco cocktail and tasty snacks while we decorated a pretty Spring cake. The chocolate cake with Raspberry filling ended up being delicious when I got it home. The class instructor was super knowledgeable and helpful.
Susan created the most beautiful "cottage fairy witch" cake for my 10 year old's birthday party. It was both beautiful and delicious (funfetti cake with cream cheese frosting). Highly recommend!
This should be your go-to local bakery. Everything is consistently delicious -cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cakes… you really can’t go wrong. I’ve ordered their cakes for parties and they are not only beautiful, but genuinely delicious too. Nothing is overly sweet; everything tastes fresh, homemade, and made with care. We love this place. Sharing photos of their coconut cake and a unicorn cake they made for us - both were a huge hit!
We had an amazing cake for my son‘s third birthday. I provided Susan with a picture and some toppers and her team did an excellent job at executing the cake. my entire family loved the cake. The birthday boy was super happy unfortunately I did not take a picture of the cake before. They removed all the toppers
Susan and her team made my husband’s 55th surprise party a treat with their ‘double nickel’ cakes and matching silver cake pops. The details were extraordinary and so much fun- Susan even had the idea of making each nickel from 1971, his birthday year. She called the day before the party to confirm details prior to baking. The flavors- chocolate with raspberry filling and vanilla with chocolate mousse were scrumptious! Every detail down to the box they were in spoke to Susan and her team’s talent, professionalism and care to make every item they create special and yummy. I had a custom birthday cake made for my daughter’s 4th Birthday by Baked by Susan. & I Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Communication was quick and easy from start to finish, which made the whole process pretty easy. The cake itself tasted delicious ! Everyone loved it. We choose a vanilla cake with strawberry-whipped cream filling. It beautifully crafted, even with the short notice. Highly recommend Baked by Susan for anyone looking for a custom cake!!!
My daughter just had an amazing 8th birthday party at Baked by Susan! She and her friends got to go behind the scenes to make their own pizzas and then get a special tour of the bakery. They played a "Who Knows the Birthday Girl Best?" game and the winners got take-home cookie packages. Then they all decorated cupcakes with icing and various toppings--one of which they ate at the party and one that they got to take home! They also got to take home candy necklace kits, which my daughter had a great time making today. It was a wonderful one-stop-shop birthday party--all I had to do was show up. Everyone had a great time! Definitely give it a try for one of your kiddos!
The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day. The dulce delish filling was truly delicious, and the overall design was simple and elegant, perfectly matching the tone of my ceremony. When I arrived to pick it up, Susan personally came out to make sure I was happy and that everything was perfect, which to me is the definition of quality service. This isn’t the first time I’ve ordered from Baked by Susan—my husband’s German chocolate cake (for his birthday) was such a hit that I didn’t even get a slice because it was gone so quickly. Baked by Susan is truly my go‑to bakery for special occasions; her bakery is about 40 minutes away, and I will happily make the trip every time!
I ordered a smash cake and some cupcakes for my daughter's 1st birthday. The cake and cupcakes were so so delicious. The cream cheese frosting on the red velvet cupcake was to die for, I might need to order that as a cake in the future. The smash cake was beautiful and exactly what I hoped for. The team was wonderful from taking my order over the phone, to pick up, to the baked goods themselves. Baked by Susan never disappoints!!
